Also in the North-East corner of Connecticut, you will find Brown’s.
It’s right off of the road, but be careful of the narrow opening in the stone wall in front. It’s 1-car-at-a-time. Brown’s carries a good assortment of handguns, rifles and shotguns. Also ammo, smithing and paintball.
Mostly hunting & sporting longarms, but I saw some AR15s, and a few Mini-14s as well. In addition to the obligatory tactical handguns, there was a new snubnose Taurus in .327 FedMag, and a used longish-barreled revolver in S&W .32 Short. If one inherited a ton of .32 S&W Short ammo from his grandfather, he might be tempted by such revolvers…
The owner was friendly and low-key, and there were friendly customers on hand to shoot the breeze.
Brown’s had all of the basics covered. Check them out for yourself.
