The Register Citizen has a typically one-sided article about a meeting of the Connecticut Against Gun Violence group. Bitter at Snowflakes in Hell pointed out that at least one member of the group, James Hanton, is a convicted felon, who can’t vote because he’s on parole. Therefore, one of their methods to counter-act the influence of the NRA would be to allow felons to vote.
David Codrea of the War On Guns blog, writing in the Gun Rights Examiner has more information about James Hanton.
Robert Farago of thetruthaboutguns.com went so far as to do a phone interview with Rob Pinciaro, the head of Connecticut Against Gun Violence. Apparently, Robert kept confusing the issue with facts, and the interview ended.
Yet another Update, from Gunnutmegger
Brady-fellating Pinciaro is a fan of pre-emptively confiscating peoples guns “just in case” they might commit a crime.
Why anyone with a brain should listen to Pinciaro is a mystery to me. The man is an ignoramus, a bigot (based on his conversation with Farago), and lacks the common sense to pour piss out of a boot, let alone the sense to not piss into the boot in the first place. He cannot even manage his own affairs without screwing them up, according to this court document.
Sadly, he is practically a neighbor. Suffice it to say, I would sooner perform cunnilingus on a dead skunk than take the time to urinate on him if he were on fire.
